Founded in 2021, Pony Sports DTX is a volunteer led collective run by 3 SMU alumni that are passionate about supporting Mustang athletics and have committed their own money and countless hours with the sole purpose of helping college athletes thrive and benefit financially. The collective as a whole is comprised of over 200+ SMU alumni, business owners, Dallas residents, and former players. The DTX collective provides 6 different membership opportunities to prospective members. In exchange, DTX provides members with exclusive content, events and access to its player partners. In turn, Pony Sports DTX compensates its player partners and also presents unique networking opportunities for them through the events put on by the collective.

We have partnered with over 30 SMU student-athletes allowing them to profit off their name, image, and likeness. As our collective continues to grow and raise funds so will our ability to sign and partner with even more student-athletes to provide financial support on a month to month and year to year basis.

Make your commitment to our player partners by donating to Pony Sports DTX today!

With rent and the price of everything going up NIL has helped me in ways that I cannot even explain. I am able to live more comfortably as a football player while also being able to provide and help out my family back home. I am grateful for Pony Sports DTX.

SMU has provided this helpful webpage to familiarize SMU supporters of the ins-and-outs of NIL rules. The university is not legally permitted to arrange NIL contracts for student-athletes, thus organizations such as the Pony Sports DTX are critical in helping SMU student-athletes maximize their business opportunities.
